The circulation anomalies caused by the stratospheric sudden warming can reach the ground after about three weeks, which in turn affects the surface temperature and precipitation. At the same time, the quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) also has an important influence on the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO). Therefore, the study of the dynamic coupling process between the stratosphere and troposphere not only helps to fully understand the mechanism of climate change in the troposphere, but also has important practical significance for improving the level of medium- and long-term forecasting.
